The House Always Wins
In casino games, the odds are stacked against players. Even if you’re on a winning streak, the odds will eventually catch up to you. Unless you have an unlimited amount of money, it’s not in your best financial interests to walk into a casino and place a bet. Casinos know this, so they do everything they can to keep players playing longer, including offering free drinks. Those drinks will cost you, however, as being inebriated doesn’t improve your judgment when it comes to betting.
Whether it’s in Vegas or online, a good casino will offer a mix of popular games from well-known software providers, live leader content and fresh, innovative content. In addition, fast withdrawals and great customer support are also important factors that help casinos gain the trust of their players.
Martin Scorsese’s Casino is a fascinating movie about the history of Las Vegas and its long ties to organized crime. It doesn’t have the pizzazz of other mafia movies like Goodfellas, but it does give a detailed picture of how fucked up this lifestyle is. In a city built on gambling, Casino tells the story of a man who’s just about to become king of the mob and whose life gets derailed by a few bad decisions. Unlike most other movies that glorify the mafia lifestyle, this film doesn’t gloss over its violence, which is both shocking and true to life. It’s also the most sexy film Scorsese has ever made, starring Robert De Niro and Jodie Foster in one of their best performances.
